]]> GSU President Anton Anasenko is coaching and hosting a kettlebell seminar at the Siberian State University of Physical Education this October. The seminar will be coached by:

Ivan Denisov MSIC

Natalya Gorbunova MSIC
V. Pavlov

and include practical sessions, theory and scientific study specific to the field of girevoy sport. For a full list of topics that will be covered see the attached event link!

Also included in the cost of the seminar is attendance at an all Russian Kettlebell Sport conference looking at the future of the sport including such topics as:

– Problems with development in women events such as snatch,jerk,long cycle and their impact on the female body.
-problems of youth development in girevoy sport and sport disciplines which influence the development of the growing body.
-ways of development and promotion of girevoy sport in European countries and countries futher abroad.
-girevoy sports and its inclusion in the Olympics
-new technologies for the development of girevoy sport and helping to improve the training process.

This event is a very unique and a great opportunity for any kettlebell sport athlete and/or coach to learn and be part of the development of the sport!

Scottish Kettlebell Club Coaches Abi & Scott headed down to Darlington to teach a seminar focusing on kettlebell snatch technique hosted by Ste Gordon at his Tu Nova Kettlebell Training Facility. The day covered:

– Individual technique analysis and recommendations
– Specific warm up and mobility drills
– Breakdown of the lift
– Special exercises to help each component
– Handle preparation and chalking techniques
– General assistance exercises to improve performance
