]]> Kettlebell Nottingham are excited to introduce the Summer kettlebell weekend, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of August.

On Saturday 6th we will be holding our 1st Kettlebell Sport Triathlon, in cooperation with the Grassroots Kettlebell League and on Sunday the 7th coach Laurence Clemente will be holding an all day Kettlebell Sport workshop.

You can take part in the entire weekend or choose just in one of the 2 days. Either way, this is a great chance to spend a weekend getting involved in the world of kettlebell sport!

Kettlebell Sport Triathlon, Sat 6th of August 10.00 to 17.00

Covering the three kettlebell sport lifts (jerk, snatch & long cycle) lifters get the chance to compete in 5 min sets of any or all lifts and also in singles or doubles (for jerk and long cycle) as they chose.

The Grassroots League splits lifters in two categories: beginner & advanced.

-ADVANCED: Rank 1 or above by GSU/IUKL/OKSE or other relevant Girevoy Sport ranking table; or lifters ranked as “High” or above points in pentathlon.

-BEGINNERS: unranked or ranked below the level detailed above in GS or Pentathlon

The 4th of October 2014 saw the culmination of the UK’s competition season with the GSU British Championships. Ketllebells Nottingham played host putting on a great comp. clubs from all over the UK and Ireland were in attendance and showcased some amazing lifting.
