GSU members can apply for rank from any competition they attend (domestic or abroad) by sending in a video of their full set for review.

For those that didn’t make rank in this round – remember that GSU’s tables are based on the full IUKL ranks and so some of the toughest around!

The sport looks to be growing every year with every competition seeing plenty of new, strong athletes joining the ranks, so to speak, and current ones climbing their way up the weights and rankings.

The ranking applications from February’s Scottish Open have been verified and the newly ranked athletes informed! Among which we have four new Rank 3 athletes, four rank 2, four rank 1 (including Josh Hayes – a junior ranking at adult level!), one CMS and one Master of Sport International Class (reps equivalent to).

The newly ranked members shall all receive a certificate of rank plus a rank card for their members case both with the official GSU stamp.
